Join us today at 10:30 am to hear Tim Simpson, College Minister at First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa, talk through how his ministry has established disciple making small groups.  Tim has been the college minister at FBC Tuscaloosa for 11 years and has a ton of wisdom to pass on to us.

College ministries want to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus and equip them for a lifetime of ministry and small groups can serve as a way to accomplish this.  In order to achieve this, some ministries have an application for small group Bible study leaders every spring that is followed by a leadership retreat at the beginning of the fall to train them.  In concert with these events it is crucial that ministries continue to train and equip leaders, one avenue could be in weekly leaders meetings.  Tim will attempt to unpack all this leadership training that goes into making his ministry's successful small groups.
